Miss Matty has been a familiar face at Wares for many years, sharing helpful tips and a little traditional wisdom across our website. Inspired by a character in Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cranford, she represents the tradition and value for money that have been part of Wares since our hardware shop opened in 1992.
