Often these small glass jars are used by artisan sellers for samples of their produce. When putting together a range of several flavours of jams, jellies or chutneys these miniature jars are ideal. We love meeting brides to be at our warehouse in Goostrey, Cheshire. There is a knack to choosing the right small jars for the wedding favours; not too big, not too small and yet big enough to look pretty on the table without taking up too much space. There is so much to get on the table with the place settings including perhaps several glasses and flowers of course. So, which of these little jars are the most popular? Well to fit in with the above criteria we would recommend the 3.5 oz jam jar. This is about the size of a mustard pot and is tall enough to take ribbon in the wedding colour etc. and of course large enough for a lovely little label.
