Tucked away in East Ayrshire, Mossgiel Organic Farm is not your typical dairy.

Led by Bryce Cunningham, Mossgiel has become one of the UK’s most talked-about independent dairies — but its current success was born out of a real challenge. In 2015, following a collapse in milk prices, Bryce made the decision to completely rethink the way the farm operated.

Instead of supplying into a broken system, Mossgiel chose to take control — building its own processing, branding and distribution model, and working directly with customers who value quality, provenance and sustainability.

What started as a response to adversity has grown into a forward-thinking dairy business supplying homes, cafés and retailers across Scotland and beyond.
