Once your order has been received we will always aim to dispatch within 3-5 working days subject to items being in stock. All orders (except for very small parcels) are sent out via our Courier APC on an overnight delivery.
Please note that deliveries to the Highlands and islands including Northern Ireland take two days to arrive once dispatched from us.
Sometimes, at busy periods, orders may take a little longer to reach you. This is also the case if we are awaiting new stock in order to complete your order. Should the delivery time be longer than seven days from receipt of order we will contact you by email or telephone.
Please note that courier companies vary in their procedures when it comes to leaving parcels for customers. Unless you have expressly requested for your parcel not to be left in a safe place, they will often leave the parcel for you for your convenience. Very rarely parcels can go missing. When this happens Wares of Knutsford does not accept liability. So please make every effort to be available to receive your goods, especially for larger orders and let us know if you are not happy for your goods to be left.
For parcel deliveries:
You will be contacted by the courier company with a delivery window on the day of delivery. If they do not leave your goods in a safe place and you are not at home the courier will send you an email, text message and / or leave a paper card at your address. It is then your responsibility to contact the courier and arrange collection from a pick up shop. Wares of Knutsford is not responsible for shipping costs when goods are returned as non-delivered or are not collected from a pick up shop. Refunds will be for goods only where failure to receive/collect has taken place.
For pallet deliveries:
Delivery charges - Our website pallet shipping costs cover UK Mainland delivery addresses only (as per our carrier's postcode listings). If your postcode falls outside of these boundaries, you will be contacted directly to discuss payment of additional delivery charges.
Receiving a pallet delivery- You will receive an email from us to let you know that the pallet has been shipped. Standard delivery service is Economy to UK Mainland addresses (unless Next Day is specifically requested). If you need the delivery to be 'booked in' by the carrier, please let us know at the time of ordering. We ask that you are available at the delivery address to receive the pallet, as any deliveries which cannot be made/need to be re-scheduled will incur a charge dictated by the carrier (based on location/current fuel surcharges etc.) This additional cost will be charged to the customer. We are more than happy to obtain information on ETA from our carriers on request to help to avoid any delivery issues/additional charges.
Delivery charges for parcels to the UK Mainland:

£6.95 on goods with a value between £5-£10
£7.95 delivery for goods between £10-£40
£9.95 delivery for goods between £40-£65
£12.95 delivery for goods between £65-£100
£17.95 delivery and packaging on orders with a value of between £100 and £200
£26.95 on goods with a value of between £200 and £300
£35.95 on retail orders with a value between £300 and £400
£41.95 on retail orders with a value between £400 and £500
£49.95 on retail orders with a value of £600-£1000
£69.99 delivery for goods with a value of £1000 - £2000
£79.99 delivery for goods with a value of £2000 - £10,000
The only exception to these costs is if you live in an area of Scotland or the wider UK that the courier companies deem to be 'remote'.
The following postcodes are typically deemed to be remote**. Sadly we do reserve the right to contact you and ask for additional shipping costs or cancel your order - if the shipping costs are really above and beyond what is reasonable.
For Highlands and Islands of Scotland the delivery charge is £14.99 per box (maximum 20 kilos).

Isle of Man IM postcodes is charged at £18.95 per 20kg box
Northern Ireland is charged at £19.95 per 20kg box. However should your order require to be packed in more than one box you will be contacted with a quotation for shipping.
Channel Islands is charged at £18.95 per 20kg box. We use several courier companies in order to obtain the very best delivery charges for our customers and will always quote the most economical method of shipping orders.
Scilly Islands TR postcodes delivery charge is £18.95 per 20kg box
Southern Ireland is charged at £29.95 for the first 20kg box and £24.95 per 20kg box thereafter.

Zone 5: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Greek Islands, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania: £54.95 (Transit time from dispatch 4-6 days)
Zone 6: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Norway: £49.95

Where Wares of Knutsford are aware that a customs duty is liable to be due on any European or worldwide order then the customer will be notified in advance of dispatch. However this is not always possible so please note that should an import tax be levied on the delivery by the customs of the country to which the order is being sent then this import tax is the sole responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer. This tax is impossible to calculate beforehand and only applies to certain destinations. Should the customer wish to ascertain whether such a tax is applicable to their order then please do not hesitate to request this information so that we can then check with our couriers.
In the case of large orders to European destinations i.e. where the order involves more than one box weighing 20 kilos, the customer will be contacted with the total shipping price prior to shipment of order.
Wares of Knutsford can arrange delivery to any international (worldwide) destination and upon receipt of such an order or enquiry regarding an order a quotation will be provided for shipping prior to the order being arranged or dispatched. When large value orders are received from worldwide destinations (over £200) the value of the order will be refunded upon receipt of the order whilst the shipping charges are calculated for the order. Once the shipping charges have been calculated the customer will be informed of the total amount due for goods and shipping. Payments for worldwide orders value over £200 are required to be paid via a BACS payment directly into the Wares of Knutsford Bank Account details of which will be supplied to the customer at the time of the quotation,
Sometimes breakages occur during transit. If this should occur please notify our customer services department on 01477 537224 or by email at info@waresofknutsford.co.uk and replacement items will be sent out or a refund given. For clarity, we reserve the right to issue a refund for the value of the goods broken, rather than replace the goods, particularly where the value of the goods is low. Thank you.
