- Ball Mason and all canning jars need to have a new disc applied after each use when water bath or pressure canning.
- These are authentic American discs manufactured by Mason Ball in the U.S.A - to fit their WIDE MOUTH jars in various sizes.
- 12 lids/discs per box
Instructions for use:
- Wash lids in hot, soapy water, rinse well and set aside until ready to use.
- Fill jars in accordance with recipe.
- Wipe any food from the rim of the jars.
- Centre new lids on the jars and apply screw bands, adjust until fit is fingertip tight.
- After processing, all jars to cool for 12 to 24 hrs before checking seal.
- Lids should not flex up and down when pressed
- Store sealed jars in the pantry for up to a year.
