These twist lids are vinegar and acidic proof making them suitable for pickling and preserves such as chutney as well as jam, marmalade, relish and honey.
Create an airtight seal when used with the correct glass jar.
The twist closure creates a vacuum seal which is airtight and liquid tight. Preventing leaks and prolonging shelf life.

To find the correct lid for your jar simply measure across the neck of the glass jar. Read our handy blog article for help.
These lids can be applied by machine but they can also be hand applied. Please follow these care tips for successful application. For more in-depth information please read our blog post on lids.
Take care not to over tighten, a quarter of a turn will seal the lid.
Check the lid is not cross threaded.
Warmed lids work best, they can be heated to a maximum of 60°C
Apply the cap finger tight and then apply pressure for 1/4 of a turn.
When filling the jar leave approximately 10mm (5%) space from the rim in order to create the best vacuum and seal.
