Using a crimping tool for glass bottles typically refers to sealing bottles with caps. Commonly used on spirits or pharmaceutical bottles. Perfect with our Sirop Alpha glass bottle range!
How to use Crimper:
This applies if you are using aluminium screw on caps. Top tip- Practise on empty glass bottles first to get the pressure right!
- Make sure your glass bottle is sat flat on a surface
- Fill your bottle and make sure the rim of the bottle is clean and dry
- Place the crimping tool on the top of the neck flat, make sure it is aligned straight
- Squeeze the handles together firmly, you will feel resistance as the roller inside the tool forms the cap threads
- Release the tool slowly and check that the cap is tight and the tamper evident band is properly formed
