Our 70mm twist off replacement lids are designed to fit a range of larger glass jars used for preserving, food storage and commercial packaging. Manufactured with a heat-sealable, vinegar-proof lining, these high-quality metal lids provide a reliable airtight seal, helping to keep your homemade and commercial products fresher for longer.
Available in a choice of pack sizes, our 70mm replacement lids are FSA approved and BPA free, making them suitable whether you're replacing a few worn lids at home or purchasing in bulk for your business. Compatible with a variety of larger preserving jars, they're ideal for jams, chutneys, pickles, sauces, honey and many other food products.

Helpful hand application tips
These lids can be applied by machine or by hand. Follow these simple tips for the best seal, or read our Guide to Twist Off Lids for more detailed advice.

Do not overtighten – a quarter turn is all that's needed.

Check the lid is correctly positioned and not cross-threaded.

For best results, lids can be gently warmed to a maximum of 60°C before application.

Apply firm downward pressure while tightening.

Leave approximately 10mm (5%) headspace when filling jars to achieve the best vacuum seal.
