These are lovely quality glass jars without the premium 'kilner' price. The seals are nice and tight and the ribbed sides make them easy to grip even when full.

    A great size

Just what I need for my annual blackberry gin! Easily holds a litre of fluid, 300g sugar and 500g berries. If you have ever tried getting the berries out of a 2 litre plastic 'pop' bottle you will understand!

    Good value product

Bought a set of 6 jars to store flour. Being a baker I have more than a standard bag worth of any of the varieties of flours I use and this jar comfortably holds the additional quantity. The wide neck is good for pouring and also wide enough for a large spoon or scoop holding a mound of flour. The ridge sides - I find - are an ideal grip aid for floury hands. But be careful not to hold at the neck as the heavy lid folds back and can trap your finger - I learned the hard way and now hold in the middle. Good value product - can happily recommend.
